Nineteen of the Russian's twenty-one titles have been earned on hard courts
A revitalized Daniil Medvedev secured his maiden trophy for nearly 30 months with success over Corentin Moutet in the competition final.
The Russian, a ex- number one, has had a challenging season, winning just one win at the Grand Slams and suffering a setback at the US Open.
His varied form on the professional circuit - and issues with his service game in especial - led to him exiting of the top ten and eventually parting ways with long-time trainer his previous coach.
Currently training with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, Medvedev has steadily advanced in the recent weeks - culminating in a closely contested 7-5 4-6 6-3 victory over challenger Corentin Moutet.
This represents the player's first title after the 2023 Rome Masters and first on a hard court since March of 2023.
Victory also means he has achieved 21 titles at twenty-one various competitions.
"This marks the first occasion I have attended a tournament with my both daughters simultaneously, so to secure a trophy is especially meaningful," stated world number 14 Daniil Medvedev.
"This victory is in dedication of my second daughter my daughter, because the initial championship I achieved when my first daughter her name was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the past champion, had lost his past six finals, featuring in that event earlier this year.
His defensive play style and frequent emotional displays on the tennis court had caused commentators to doubt if his ability to compete at the highest level was finished.
But the 29-year-old has altered his approach in recent weeks, striving to advance forward and perform assertively, reinforced by an better serving game.
Medvedev came back from a break down in the opening set against the challenging Frenchman, winning four of the final five games to take the lead.
The competitors swapped breaks in the following set before Moutet, bidding for his maiden ATP Tour victory, gained dominance to force a decider.
The opponent defended four initial chances in a close deciding set before the Russian broke to fifteen to serve for the match.
Appropriately, Medvedev clinched victory with a rally at the net area, with Moutet unable to handle a shot after a lengthy match.
